International Airport will be built Near the Noida
The Central Government has got theoretically approved for the new airport in the jewar of Uttar Pradesh near Delhi. Hopefully new airport will be operational by 2022.There is a plan to build a new airport in the jewar of Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh, about 80 km from the present Indira Gandhi International Airport. It can cost about 15-20 thousand crores to build it. The new airport will have an annual capacity of 3-5 million. It will be developed in 3000 hectare, which has been identified by the Yamuna Express Authority. The notification has also been issued in this regard.Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha in a conversation with ABP News informed that the present capacity of Delhi airport is about 60 million passengers, which will reach nine million by 2020 and 10.9 million by 2024. In view of the increasing speed of the passengers, it is expected that this capacity will be fully utilized, considering that the new airport is being created. According to Sinha, the Uttar Pradesh government is very serious about the project of Jove, after which the project is expected to be speedily implemented.
